Beth Jones
For the past 30 years, Beth Jones has been helping people learn the basics of faith, family, church and leadership––through writing, speaking and pastoring. Through The Basics With Beth, she’s passionate about helping you learn the basics to unlock your potential and live a life you love!
Author
As an author, Beth has written more than 20 books aimed at helping people get the basics! She has sold more than 250,000 copies of her flagship book, “Getting a Grip on the Basics” in America and thousands more have been distributed in more than 17 foreign languagesaround the world. As a speaker, Beth teaches the basics in a down-to-earth, humorous and practical way at churches, conferences, online schools and television. She also writes The Basics Weekly Devo blog and creates experiences such as the 14-Day Basics Reboot, each for thousands of subscribers.
Pastor
Beth and her husband Jeff are the founders and Senior Pastors of Valley Family Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where they minister to thousands of people each week. Together, they have raised four kids who are actively involved in the ministry and are now starting their own families.
Beth received her BA in Communication from Boston University in Boston, MA and received her ministry training at Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, OK. She is licensed and ordained through RMAI.
Alicia Gilligan
Alicia has been married to Tim Gilligan for 34 years. Together they co-founded Meadowbrook Church in Ocala, Florida in 1989. They have raised five children and have three grandchildren. During their decades of ministry, she has used her love of music, photography, youth, and communication to serve the ministry in a variety of ways.
A true “people person” – she is a teacher of the Word and an encourager. She assists with staff development and leads Heart of a Woman ministry at MBC. She enjoys reading on her front porch, family time at Disney World, a good breakfast, and road trips filled with great music. She lives her life with joy, finding grace and courage in knowing that, “God saw this day!”
Jane H. McDonnough
Known for her insightful sermons that speak to the hearts of Faith Life Church’s’ diverse membership, Senior Pastor Jane Hillman McDonnough provides the leadership and spiritual direction that is at the heart of this growing congregation. Pastor Jane began her ministerial career in 1980 and has been involved in full-time ministry since 1989.
Pastor Jane holds a BA in Elementary education from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. She received her credentials and is ordained under the auspices of the Association of Faith Churches and Ministers (AFCM). Pastor Jane is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center and also holds credentials with Rhema Ministerial Association International (RMAI) in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pastor Jane’s progress from Rhema to the senior leadership of Faith Life Church has seen her perform in a series of roles; from missionary to on the road itinerant preacher, minister and associate pastor. In each of these roles, Pastor Jane has expanded both her knowledge and presentation of the Word while crafting a style of delivery that is practical, graceful, confident and inspired.
Olivia Moore
Olivia Moore is a young, passionate lover of God and people. Her transparent, relatable teaching style will leave you with a smile on your face, refreshed & energized to act on God’s Word and to live the adventurous, heart-satisfying life God has designed for you to live.
Growing up in a loving, ministry family in South Florida, Olivia has had the joy of knowing Jesus her entire life. At the tender age of 15, she heard God’s call on her life to take His good news into all the nations of the world. She stepped into the ministry as a teenager and has been traveling the world ever since. Olivia graduated from RHEMA Bible Training Center in 2011 and was officially ordained in 2014, holding her ministry credentials with Dr. Jerry Savelle’s Heritage of Faith Christian Center.
Known as a “Fireball Preacher with a Smile”, Author, Missionary, and Friend. Her purpose is simply knowing Jesus and making Him known. Olivia’s heart burns with a passion to see this world set on fire by the same love that has given her life. She lives to see people win, helping others from all walks of life experience freedom from their past, joy in their present & vision for their future. Today is a new day & a fresh start in your life. Because Jesus changes everything!
